Please keep my family in prayer last Tuesday my Grandmother was taken to the ER she has phenomena (her right lung is totally full of fluid) which was/is effecting her already really bad heart and she had another mini stroke. She was kept in the hospital 2 days and was released back to the nursing home. We just got a call a few minutes ago that she was taken back to the ER and all we know at this point was that she was gray and not to expect her to live through the night.

I'll let ya know more when I can. I need to go to bed shortly I have to get up early to go to work in the morning. :(

we just got a call that they was able to get Gram stabilized and has a somewhat normal pulse. they are admitting her into the hospital its still touch and go tho

Gram has 2 blockages in her heart. The Doctors are going to do another scan and the family is going to have to decide whither to do surgery (which almost 2 years ago she needed surgery to fix a valve in her heart and we was told then that she would not survive the surgery and she is a lot weaker now) ....or do nothing (which the hospital is going to send her back to the nursing home) either way its just a matter of days or hours even unless God intervenes. We are going up to see her after my dad and brother get out of work.

Thanks, no matter what happens Grammie knows the Lord as her personal Saviour and thats the most important thing

edited to add update:
..hey its a little after 10 pm we just got home from visiting Grammie and then going to see Grandpe... Grammie isnt doing well she was having a hard time keeping awake while we was there. After looking at the last scan the Doctors wouldnt even consider surgery which kinda eases Grandpe and the rest of the family's minds where everyone was torn on what we should do. so basically now all we can do is wait......

Grammie pasted away last night just before midnight. She didnt want a funeral so the family is having a memorial service and a get together afterwords either tomorrow or Thursday. Depending on when my uncle Don can do it

Heather, I'm so sorry to hear about your gram. :( We are going through similar right now with Jacquetta's great grandfather... he's 99 years old, and right now it's only a matter of time before God intervenes and takes him home.

The memorial service is tomorrow afternoon I managed to get the whole day off instead of just a couple hours to go to it, that way I can visit with family especially Grampie he isnt doing good health wise either
