Prayer Room Rules

Prayer can be very powerful! This is why we like to push our prayer forum. With that said, here you can post your prayer requests! However, to keep things civil, we have a couple of very important rules.

No prayer requests can be made in The Prayer Room without the permission/request of the person or group that is being prayed for (discluding health reasons). Prayer requests for other parties (i.e. - Please pray for this person, they have emotional problems) can be posted in our Private Prayer Requests forum, only accessible by members of our Prayer Group.

Also, anything that is prayed about in our Private Prayer forum, shall remain private! Any copying-and-pasting, screen shots, or info shared outside of the private prayer room are not allowed. Any members who break these rules will have their SimSafe2 Prayer Group privileges permanently revoked.

Please keep my older brother in prayer. He has water drops behind some part of his eye I cant think of what it is called right now, but it is making it so that he cannot see well his vision keeps going white on him. The normal eye presser is suppose to be 200 .. Kevin's is over 400 in each eye. He went to one specialist yesterday and they referred him to a second one. Usually there is no medical thing that can be done it either goes away on its own or the person goes blind.. the 2nd specialist may try to do something where it is in both eyes so bad but there is a big risk that could make Kevin go blind as well. Kevin is taking it really hard so please keep him in prayer. I know that God can heal his eyes

I'm praying Flutt
As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15) Kyrie eleison

“May God not find the whine in us any more, but may He find us full of spiritual pluck and athleticism, ready to face anything He brings.” ( Oswald Chambers )

Oh no Flutt. :( Satan really seems to be coming at your family pretty hard. I will have your brother in my prayers. Please let us know if his condition changes (and hopefully that change will be for the better). (((((HUGS)))))

Thank you (((((((everyone))))))) Kevin's perspective of colors has started to mess up things that are black look green to him etc. A big part of Kevin doesnt want to go to this other doctor I think partly cause he hates doctors (because of all the surgeries he had to have as a baby/child) but also cause I think he is afraid of what they are going to say.

Kay: yeh it does seem that way, but praise God that we dont have to go though any of it in our own strength, God is in control

Not sure how the lightings will be affecting his eyes but I heard from a friend that bright lightings will strained her eyes so she has all her lightings changed to controllable that can be adjusted from dim to bright. May be you can suggest him to ask the doctor on this. Hope this can help. Will still be praying for him. ~Hugs~

Concentrate prayer on the right eye now

Ah, Flutterby, I understand your brother's dilemma regarding doctors. I am praying for his right eye and for peace of mind. Stressing can subtract from healing.

Praying for peace as I can sense that He is stressing. Getting stressed for too long is bad for health and sometimes emotionally as well. I used to get sick easily because I was very depressed and I felt bad about myself whenever someone gotten frustrated with me falling sick again.

If there is anything that can help him to reduce the stress; it will be good to try. Example like listening to musics, a walk in the park etc.

He must has been struggling about his health condition; not sure of what to do if his eyes will get worst. During this time; his faith is being tested and he may feel offended easily when people ask him about his eyes.

Hmmm... may be you can give him a really big hug and thanks him for being your older brother. Make him feel that he is still needed and love. At least I hope he will not be so stressed.

Treat him like there is no problem with his eyes and continue to pray while we are supporting through prayers.

:)

both Kevin and Dad have a stressful job (the work together) and it doesn't help that the owner could walk in any day and say he is closing the store and they would be out of a job.

A lot of times when they get home from work the boys will go out and play paintball which they really like to do

as for the big hug, my family has never been one to give hugs ..so I may skip that :)

Thinking of you regarding your brother's eyes.

I know I sure miss my brother's hugs. He was here in June. Funny thing we never hugged much when we were younger.

Maybe your family will grow into it like mine did. I think they take you for granted when they are young. I was never much of a hugger until I moved into my 50s.

You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers, Nonni

a quick update on my brothers eyes. He has been acting as though things were getting better but it slipped the other day that he can only see shapes and colors with his good eye and he cant see anything out of his bad one. He goes back to the doctors sometime this week...I think tomorrow, not sure tho.

please continue to keep him in prayer

Kevin had his appointment the other day. The pressure in his eyes are better than they was at his last appointment even tho he can't see much. All the doctor can really do is keep monitoring the pressure in his eyes and hope his sight gets better as the pressure goes down.
