Hello Everyone

My name is Rob, and I am the owner of SimSafe2. I am from the state of Louisiana (USA), I am 19 years old, and I teach music for a living. It is quite humbling to be self-employed at my age, never able to know for sure when I will and will not make the money that I need, but God has proven to me time and time again that He will always be there to provide for me; as long as I keep my eyes on Him.

Starting this site was one of the best things I have ever done with my time on the computer. I have played The Sims 2, and I have taken a whack at creating/meshing, but none of those have given me the joy that I get from managing this place. My goal is to have a good, family safe community that revolves around God; and with the help of my excellent staff members (see below, hehe) and none other than God Himself, I think that my goal is being reached. I feel blessed to have a small handful of excellent creators who have contributed their hard work to SimSafe2, and spreading the word about the site in the process - Thanks!

Hi, ya'll! I am Petunia Mae Witherbottom and NoRealLife2. I am very honored to be part of staff here at SS2 and enjoy what I do very much.

I believe that everything in the Bible is directly from God (All Scripture is God-breathed - 2 Tim 3:16) and try to live the best I can as He would want me to. Jesus is in my heart and I know for certain that I am going to Heaven when I die. I get excited hearing about what God does in other people’s lives, and give Him all the glory for everything that happens in my life. He’s a wonderful, loving Father.

That’s not to say I am always right, oh, far from it! And we Christians don’t always have the same views on things. But if I ask God to guide me on this site, and everywhere else in my life, He will continue to bless what we are doing here. And SS2’s main goal is to glorify God through our Sims2 Forum Boards and Chat Room. My personal goal is to be used by Him wherever I am and in whatever I do.

I am disabled and unable to work. I have been healed of a number of ailments, and enjoy my life very much. I never get bored, even when I was homebound for a whole year due to health reasons. I am on the computer every day but also do housework, a little yard work, and now doing things for my church. I have heart problems and have to take a lot of breaks while doing manual work, so I hop on the computer a few times each day. I am very poor financially, but very, very happy. I have a history of severe depression and suicide attempts in my background, but God has healed me of that also and for many years have been absolutely stable and without psychotic medication - praise God! Now I will share a secret with you: Christmas is just a bit difficult for me to get through each year.

I don’t have a degree in psychology or anything, but use my internet connection to counsel people who just need to talk, are suicidal or are cutting, or who are just having a difficult time getting through something, either through the chat room, instant message, or email. I do quote God’s word, as He is the ultimate One who can help.

A few years ago I read on a Sims2 board that there was a lawyer named Jack Thompson who accused the game of containing pornographic material. I followed the link to the newspaper article and read for myself what he had to say, then politely emailed him, explaining and proving his errors. Mr. Thompson emailed his responses to me immediately, and was very abusive. He claims to be a Christian, but his words don’t reflect it, I’m afraid. So I am also known in the Sims2 community as “the person who Jack Thompson said he would pray she has no more children.” A couple of on-line newspapers interviewed me about that.

My responsibilities as Super-Moderator here include checking posts and chat for any negative use of words or foul language, hatred, etc.; checking uploads for content and links; assigning different responsibilities to moderators; and helping to maintain the site in a way that is safe for people of all ages and is pleasing to God. The part I do not like is when I have to speak to someone about his or her actions or words.

Oh, one more thing – sometimes I am pretty silly!

Ressu is nick, that my friends gave me, when we were teenagers, we all got nics after cartoon animals, based on our names first letter, Ressu is Finnish translation of Snoopy! And the 77 is the year I was born.My real name is Reija, but I prefer Ressu, every friend of mine uses that name too, sometimes if somebody uses my real name, I would't even realize, that I'm spoken to...

I have been birthdaymanager from start of this site I agreed to take on the position of moderator on september 6th, and basically my job is to help Rob and other mods to keep an eye on the boards. I was little afraid to take that position as english isn't my primary language. But then I thought that I have the time, and my language skill has improved much in year, and Rob managed to convince me that I will manage the job. I'll do my best

I'm bit shy, so don't wonder if you dont see me posting much, but be aware I'm usually lurking in the background

I'm 30 yr old homewife/mother from Southern Finland, I'm Evangelical-Lutheran, and in here kids follow their mothers religion autonomusly, but they can freely choose on age of 15 if they want to change or keep it I have been with my husband over 11 yrs, 8 of them married. We have 3 great kids, 10 years old son, 7 years old daughter and 5 years old son. My oldest son is in 4th grade, daughter is 1st grade and the youngest is spending time with me at home.
We might have different school system here, that you all have used to, it's called comprehensive school: Schools starts the year kid turns to 7, grades 1-6 are lower- and grades 7-9 higher comprehensive school, then you can choose if you go to Gymnasium or Vocational school. And after that you can choose to go to work or continue to University or School of Higher Vocational Education(and this is just quick short description)

I have baker and confectioner technical education, but I have worked only 1 month after school, I've been at home since my 1st "announced his presence" in fall 1996. In future I will go back to school, but I'll wait that my youngest gets to shool before that, so I will be at home at least next 2 years. It's more than enough time to decide, what I want to study..

My favourite colour is purple and every possible shade of it (like anyone haven't noticed it yet) I like to listen mostly 80-90's rock and pop, but just about all genres goes, without few exeptions

I have been sims addict since Sims 1 was given to us, got all the expansions for that too..After Sims 2 I got enough "courage" to create something myself (at least try). Lately I have had lack of intrest to create, but I guess it comes back sooner or later.

So, now I better end this introduction, or it will become a book

I’m MaAlet. My real name is Alet. I am a retired teacher and live in Namibia. If you don’t know where it is, you can read about it in our SimSafe Picture Gallery .

The important things in my life? First of all my Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him I am nothing.
I thank God every day for the second most important thing in my life: my children. I have three children, a son and twin daughters, all grown up and doing their own thing.
Thirdly my dogs. Currently I have two dogs, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Bullmastiff.

My children gave me Sims2 for a retirement present to “keep me busy” And it did keep me busy! I was soon addicted and since then I got Expansion Packs and stuff packs for every mothers day, birthday and Christmas

My other interests are fabric painting, reading and long walks on the beach or in the desert with my family and dogs.
