Family Dog

Our family dog, Muggles, was recently discovered to be allergic to poultry, peas, barley--in other words, the main ingredients in almost all dog foods. Because we didn't know before, he's just had food that was very bad for him for almost his whole life, which caused a lot of weight gain and serious skin problems. And since I got home I learned that he's had problem with the sores from before starting to bleed, and we found that he was also bleeding under his collar. Well, even though we took the collar off, that wound in particular is getting worse, and it looks like he really should go to the vet--but my parents are really stretched financially, so they may not be able to. The poor dog really needs prayers...I admit he drives me nuts because he isn't all that well behaved, but he's really falling apart. Thanks--I'm sure Muggles will appreciate it

I'm praying that Muggles get well soon, Marta.
It's really a pity that vets are so expensive, and our poor pets have to suffer.

Dear Marta,
So sorry to hear about your dog, Muggles. Wish you had a compassionate vet who would care for your dog.
I will pray for your family's dispair and for Muggles. God be with you all.
Hugs, Nonni

Marta, sorry to hear about Muggles. I know how frustrating and scary it can be. one of our cats, Isaac, was having a lot of the same problems and we found out that he is allergic to wheat germ....after looking through all the ingredients on every bag/can of cat food we finally found some that didn't have any in it and sense we started feeding that to him within a week his sores started to heal and now you would never know he ever had any problems all his sores disappeared and he has been more active than ever
I'll be praying that you can find some food that he can eat

(((((hugs)))))) Thanks everyone
Muggles is getting better slowly (it'd be faster if he didn't keep scratching) and we have food he isn't allergic to, and has a couple supplements. He just has to get over all the build up of the stuff his body didn't like. But he's much better now! (if no less aggravating
)
